Thursday's thoughts

I am looking forward to learning whatever comes my way. I am not a great adult learner...if I do not feel that I can benefit from the information I can tend to be a tad restless and inattentive (a tad may not be a strong enough adverb) but because my computer knowledge is limited any information seems to interest me. Also the fact that we apply the info we learn to our students and classes is huge for me.

delicious

This site will be amazing for me as I always encounter videos or stories in ASL that I want the kids to view. In the past I was always saving them to my desk top which was a hassle when I was using various computers. This process is easy and will provide the students with deaf comedy, signed songs, deaf culture info, etc.

I also liked it because it was soooo easy to bookmark. I do not do well multiple steps that are confusing but this was very user friendly.

Wednesday's thoughts

I am looking forward to today's info as the igoogle account and the social bookmarking really interest me. I am also kind of amazed how many things out there that I have never even heard of...I need to get out there more!!!:) I am going to add a link to a cool ASL alphabet website as I somehow yesterday I missed this info - not sure where my brain was but oh well!

Tuesday's thoughts

The morning has worked very well for me. I liked the time where I could choose the articles that I wanted to read and the videos that I wanted to watch to learn about RSS. I need repetition probably more than others when information is related to the computer. I liked the different formats for learning and feel that you two did an excellent job of picking videos are articles that were not too content dense...my attention did not wander. All has gone well.

Hopes for today

I am looking forward to learning more and am hoping that I will find ways that I can apply it to my teaching (as I did yesterday).

my intro to blogging

I do not feel overwhelmed by this use of this technology which is often the case. I am sort of visualizing this experience as an open forum for discussion even though we are all not in the same room which is in itself rather intriguing. The experience of looking through blogs that I might find interesting really has made me want to find blogs related to my particular interests. I do not mean to say the choices provided were boring just that now that I have a schema for what a blog is I want to seek out blogs that pertain to my particular work.
