October 6

I am looking forward to today's topic so I was looking forward to class. I think the only thing that is frustrating is finding the time to utilize all that I am learning.

September 29th

This week I showed the students my delicious account. Other than feeling a tad weird saying "Sign on to my delicious account" (do you think they could have come up with a different name???) it was neat being able to show the students the things that I had saved for them. They have also begun to email me things to put on the site.

One of my stumbling blocks honestly is that I want to have the kids have gmail accounts but I feel like I will not know how to do the next step. For instance if I want to do a voice thread activity I think I need to enter all their accounts in the computer and I honestly have no idea how to begin to do that....(I know I probably should). I am looking forward to the info today.

September 15th

I am happy I can stay all class today. It is hard for me for some dang reason to sit myself down and learn this stuff myself even though computer info is something I am very much interested in. I need the structured practice and support that you provide. I am already using some tips and know that more will be utilized so I am motivated to learn this.

our first Tuesday

I am happy to be back and relieved that no more weeks will pass as I am having a hard time remembering how to get to the various cool things we have learned...however it is starting to come back. I told the kids I would like them to get a gmail account and when asked why I was not ready with a plethora of responses so I am hoping to learn some more reasons why this will be valuable.

Thursday's thoughts

I am looking forward to learning whatever comes my way. I am not a great adult learner...if I do not feel that I can benefit from the information I can tend to be a tad restless and inattentive (a tad may not be a strong enough adverb) but because my computer knowledge is limited any information seems to interest me. Also the fact that we apply the info we learn to our students and classes is huge for me.
